SEOUL '88 x PRINCE OF WALES

A very popular cloth that was conceived by Royalty. The Glen Urquhart check, more commonly known as 'Prince of Wales' check was developed with King Edward VII and later popularized by his grandson, the flamboyant Edward VIII Duke of Windsor while he was the Prince of Wales.

Taking its name from Scottish valley of Glen Urquhart, the woolen cloth is woven with a twill of small and large checks, traditionally in a natural white and black colourway from its local supply of sheeps wool.

As part of the Craftsman project, Walsh have collaborated with Abraham Moon & sons to bring this renowned British cloth to a whole new media.

Made from 95% merino wool blended with 5% cashmere at only 330gsm, this lightweight, opulent cloth transforms the sporty silhouette of the Seoul '88 into a smart, sartorial masterpiece ready to wear with any attire.
